Important points about delivery

 

We offer a great FREE DELIVERY service to almost all parts of the UK on all orders over £20, for orders under £20 we charge postage of £2.99

Please note for those of you that live in the highlands or islands off the UK we can't offer the same free service due to expensive courier costs (it's more expensive for us to send some items to the highlands than it is to France!). We will however offer a very reasonable rate to these locations as detailed below.

If you're a member of our armed forces and placing a small order again due to costs we need to charge a small amount.

Standard orders usually take us 2-5 working days to organise and despatch, with delivery typically made within 3 working days of this.

Standard orders will normally be delivered via Royal Mail First Class parcel service and are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Smaller items will be posted through your letterbox, but for larger items a card will be left should you not be there to accept the parcel. We are happy to deliver to work addresses excluding PO Box numbers. In some instances, and at our discretion, we will upgrade to a traceable courier service at no extra cost to you.

Addressee signature will be required on delivery or, if not in, a neighbors signature where available and a card left with the addressee.

We offer an 'Express' service for items that are stocked in our shop. This is a traceable service delivered by our courier, UK Mail. Orders placed before 12.00 noon will be despatched that day for next day delivery. You can also choose for orders to be delivered before 10:30am or on a Saturday. Orders placed after 12.00 noon on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday. Certain Highlands and Islands postcodes are exempt from this service.

All bikes that we ship our checked by a cytech qualified mechanic and then broken down ready for shipping in a bike box. We recycle these boxes from bikes that we get sent to do our best to help the environment so don't worry if the box on your door has different branding to what you expected.

Delivery of orders to UK addresses typically takes 1-3 working days from when the order was placed, if the item is in stock in our dispatch centre or 2-5 working days if it's only available from our stores.

Bike delivery times are typically 1-2 additional days then other items due to having them checked.

Signed for deliveries

We use signature services for our bike and next day deliveries. This is for our customer's protection. Please make sure that someone is at the address you have specified for delivery, to sign for receipt of your order. You can select a different delivery address when placing your order, such as your workplace or a neighbour’s address. To do this, simply enter a new address in the delivery address screen as prompted.
 
Next Day Delivery
 

Need your items even faster? We're now offering express delivery options for items that are available at our store* to most UK addresses. You'll find out if your item can be express delivered by using the stock availability checker on the product page.

We have three express options available:

  1. Next Working Day – for people who need to get the item the following day. Place your order before 12:00 and select this option in the checkout and you're guaranteed to get your item the very next working day. Please note if you place an order before 12:00 on a Friday, you'll receive your order on Monday.
  2. Next Working Day Pre 10:30 – leaving the following day afternoon or just want your item the following morning. Order before 12:00 and select this option to guarantee getting the item before 10:30 the following morning.
  3. Saturday – ordering on a Friday and need the item by Saturday. We can do that as well. Just select this option during checkout.

If you select an option after the cut off time it will arrive a day later. e.g. order on Monday at 20:00 with a next day selected and you'll have the item on Wednesday.

* Unfortunately this excludes bikes as we need to spend time building them or if using the Click & Collect via Raleigh, please see their website for further details.

Using our Click & Collect service your order will be delivered to our store for collection. This service is FREE of charge for all orders.

How do I find out where a product is available to Click+Collect from?
 

All you need to do is enter your postcode into the stock availability checker on the product page to see if you can pick it up from somewhere near to you.

I want to Click+Collect the item what do I do?

The process for click and collecting the item is very simple - just add the item to your basket and checkout. You'll be asked if you want to Click+Collect the item and be given the option to choose the store you would like to collect the product(s) from.

I've placed my Click+Collect order what now?

Sit back and relax – we'll gather all the products into the store you're collecting them from. Once we have them ready you'll receive an SMS message and your card will be charged. All you need to do then is drop into our store with the card you placed your order with and the order confirmation email and we'll hand over your purchase(s).

If you don't turn up within 7 days – we'll send you a reminder that we have your purchases ready, after 14 days we'll send you a second reminder.

Home Assembly Click & Collect

We also offer a home assembly option for all bikes bought via the Raleigh Click & Collect service, this making it even easier to have your bicycle ready at a time that is convenient to you. Click on the relevant option via their websites or contact us for further details.

Goods can be returned for a prompt refund or exchange if they are received back at Pedal It Returns Department within 21 days: in new condition, with the original packaging, labelling and Pedal It receipt. A refund request will be actioned within 3 working days from receipt.

The 21 days start from the day of despatch, but as a minimum includes a period of 7 working days from the day after delivery to you as the permitted cancellation period. This would not apply for special orders taken on behalf of the customer.

We recommend that items being returned be sent via insured, trackable delivery for your protection. Please note: all return postage charges to be met by customer, unless returning due to a fault. Please note all warranty returns must be clean and free from dirt and mud to comply with the current Health and Safety Regulations. We are legally unable to refund or exchange helmet returns so be careful when choosing. If the product is faulty however we will return it to the manufacturer for a warranty claim assessment. Note: DVDs, videos, books and software are non-exchangeable and non-returnable, unless incorrect or defective. If goods develop a problem they will be returned to the manufacturer for inspection to determine whether a warranty claim is valid. All of the above does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
